Career Discovery Intensive is a 6-week, 1:1 career development program designed to meet the needs of those looking to develop their professional brand, create a solid career toolkit, and navigate the ever-changing corporate landscape with confidence.

I'm so excited you're here. I'm Jasmine, Career Coach, Talent Consultant, and Founder of The Employee Handbook, Career & Workforce Solutions. 


I'm on a mission to educate professionals looking to elevate their professional brand by providing custom career services, curated to their specific needs. 


When it comes to maximizing your career potential, I don't believe there is a "one size fits all" approach. 


My clients have beautifully unique stories, and my goal is to help them embrace and use them to create authentic connections, profitable opportunities, and increased career confidence that they can be proud of.  

Complete the New Client Inquiry form. Here you will share details about your current career needs and submit for review. 


After the form is submitted, you will receive an email to schedule your initial consultation call where we will review areas of opportunity and discuss service recommendations tailored to your specific needs. 

After your consultation, your coach will draft a proposal, you'll sign our service agreement, and place your order for services to begin. 


During our coaching time, you'll receive a link to your client portal where you'll connect with your coach to begin the coaching process.  

 

 All documents, presentations, videos, links, and supporting information will be delivered to you weekly in your client portal. 


The Employee Handbook will work to ensure complete client satisfaction throughout all phases of the coaching process.  

CAREER DISCOVERY INTENSIVE INVESTMENT

Session 1: Self-Assessment and Goal Setting: 

  • What: Understand your strengths, values, and interests. Define short-term and long-term career goals and areas for improvement.
  • How: Your career coach will assign you 3 career discovery assessments that will help you identity both an industry and job target aligned with your experience, skills, education, and interests. 


Session 2: Research Industry Insights and Skills Gap Analysis: 

  • What: Explore various industries and career paths, learn about job market trends and growth areas, evaluate your current skill set and areas for improvement.
  • How: Your career coach will run customized, industry/role specific career outlooks that will show you how your selected job target aligns with your compensation, location, benefit, diversity/inclusion, and philanthropic needs.


Session 3: Job Search Assistance:

  • What: Align your talents with position requirements, soft skills, and hard skills.
  • How: Your career coach will guide you through discovering niche job boards, connect with hiring managers and recruiters, learn the art of decoding job descriptions, and how to spot position scams. Beyond your typical job boards, your coach uncovers several untapped areas to find those hidden gems. In this session, you'll learn how to find and connect with the decision-makers along the way. 

Session 4: Strategize Your Transition: 

  • What: After establishing your desired job target, develop a custom exit strategy for you to begin the transition to your new role.
  • How: Currently Employed: Your career coach will walk you through a customized plan that will allow for a confident and professional exit from your current role while transitioning to your next job target.
  • How Currently Unemployed: Your career coach will introduce you to the latest recruitment practices from the perspective of both the employer and job seeker. You will have a greater understanding of what today's recruitment and interview practices require which will help you feel more confident to rejoin the workforce. 


Session 5: Staying Focused: 

  • What: Develop your why statement. Career transitions are equally personal as they are professional. Establishing your why prioritizes your non-negotiables to help you stay the course. 
  • How: Your career coach will work with you to help you discover how you can align your personal needs with your professional needs and lead you to opportunities that are aligned with what you need at the core of who you are.

You will receive the following professional branding documents, training, and support: 


  • ATS-Compatible Professional Resume
  • Professional Cover OR Executive Biography 
  • LinkedIn Profile Update + Training
  • Mock Interview + Prep Session
